Our Teams 2026/2027

Trysil Race Tech Elite

Trysil Race Tech Elite is our highest-level technical team for athletes specializing in SL and GS who are already competing at a strong FIS level and aiming to progress toward Europa Cup and World Cup competition.

The program is built around high-quality technical training, detailed race planning, and continuous performance follow-up throughout the season. Athletes train in a focused high-performance environment where daily training, competition planning, and team collaboration are designed to support long-term progression at the highest level.

Pre-season preparation is structured to meet the physical and technical demands of elite competition. Each athlete follows an individually tailored physical training plan integrated into the overall season structure.

Admission to Tech Elite requires 40 FIS points or lower in one or both technical disciplines. This ensures a performance level within the group that allows for high training intensity and a strong competitive training environment.

Tech Elite is intended for athletes who are already competing at a high level and who seek a professional and ambitious environment to take the next step in their career.

Trysil Race Development

Our Development Team is designed for FIS athletes aiming to take the next step — whether entering their first FIS season or working strategically to lower their points.

The program focuses on both athletic progression and personal development. Athletes receive a detailed pre-season structure, individually tailored physical training plans, and access to one of Scandinavia’s strongest race environments during the winter.

The Development program consists of two groups:

  • Development 1

  • Development 2

Athletes are grouped according to their current FIS points to ensure targeted progression and appropriate competitive exposure. Team placement within the Development program will be determined based on the number of applicants and their current level.

If you are committed to improving and moving toward higher international competition levels, the Development Team provides the structure and environment to support that journey.

Trysil Race Youth Team (U10-U16)

The Trysil Race Youth Team is designed for competitive skiers under the age of 16 who are ready to take the next step in their racing development within a structured academy environment.

The program is camp-based throughout the year. Athletes do not need to be located in Trysil on a daily basis, but join the team during scheduled training camps, holiday periods, selected weekends, and key competitions. Each athlete secures a place on the team for the season and becomes part of a defined group with consistent coaching and follow-up. All athletes will have access to bespoke individual programs.

The Youth Team combines structured pre-season preparation with focused on-snow camps and race support during the winter. Training sessions are planned to align with school holidays and race events during the season.

Athletes will participate in selected major international youth races as well as national and regional competitions. Through this structure, they gain valuable race exposure while training within a professional academy framework.

The program is built to provide a clear development pathway combining performance focus, team culture, and long-term progression in a supportive but ambitious environment.

New for 2026/2027

Extended Pre-Season in Hintertux

For the 2026/2027 season, Trysil Race Academy will establish a seven-week training block in Hintertux, Austria, during September and October as part of our structured pre-season program.

For athletes enrolled in the Academy Full Year Program accommodation and half board are included as part of the program.

Athletes participating in other programs will have the opportunity to join the Hintertux camp at an additional cost. Availability is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to Full Year athletes.
