Marius has extensive international experience in sports management and coaching. With a career spanning multiple countries, Marius has worked with diverse athletes, enhancing their performance and fostering a culture of excellence.

His tenure as a Sports Director and coach has endowed him with great leadership skills, enabling him to build and guide successful teams across various competitive environments. Under his leadership, the academy is dedicated to nurturing talent and achieving outstanding results, ensuring that every athlete reaches their full potential.

Program Director

Stephen brings over 30 years of coaching experience from grassroots to elite level. A former Olympian, he has coached athletes to success at World Cups, World Championships, Olympics, and national levels.

He has served as National Coach for England, Denmark, and Australia, and has led the European Development and Excellence program since 2009. Stephen’s experience is a key asset to athlete development at Trysil Race Academy.

Head Coach Tech Elite Men

Casper has experience as a coach at Persbråten Alpin in Oslo, and has also held roles as Sports Director and Head Coach at Freidig Alpin. In addition, he worked as a full-time coach at Oppdal Alpin Elite.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science from NTNU, combining academic knowledge with practical experience in athlete development, technical training, and long-term progression in alpine skiing.

Casper is committed to creating positive and professional development environments where athletes can build confidence, skills, and consistency over time. He brings an engaged, structured, and athlete-focused approach to the coaching team.

Coach Pay & Train

Jonas brings over 20 years of elite alpine coaching experience to Trysil Race Academy. He has coached at national team level with the Swedish Junior and Men’s World Cup teams, and played a key role in building one of Sweden’s largest and most successful alpine programs at Alpine Ski Pool.

With extensive experience developing athletes from youth to international level, Jonas combines high-performance expertise with structured, athlete-centered coaching — focused on long-term development, results, and progression.

Head Coach Trysil Race Development I

Pietro is responsible for the men’s Development group at Trysil Race Academy.

He comes from a background as a FIS alpine ski racer in Italy and completed the Italian national alpine ski coach education program. For the past three years, he has worked with youth and development teams in Italy and in international training environments.
