Trysil Race Academy’s

Programs

  • Trysil Race Academy offers a comprehensive pathway for alpine athletes at different stages of their development — from younger competitive skiers to athletes pursuing elite-level FIS racing.

For the 2026/27 season, our full-time programs consist of the Tech Elite Men Team and the Development Team. We also offer training opportunities for U12–U16 athletes, as well as flexible training through our Pay & Train program.

Our programs are designed to challenge, inspire, and equip athletes with the skills, mindset, and support they need to succeed on snow and beyond.

Explore our programs below to find the option that best suits your level and ambitions.

  • Trysil Race Elite Tech

Our Tech Elite Men Team is a dedicated high-performance program for male FIS athletes specializing in Slalom and Giant Slalom. The team is designed for athletes who are serious about developing their technical skills and competing at the highest possible level.

The program follows a structured pre-season schedule designed to prepare athletes both physically and technically for the demands of the season. All athletes receive individually tailored physical training plans, combined with professional on-snow coaching, video analysis and race support.

When the snow has arrived and conditions allow, training moves to our home hill in Høgegga — one of Scandinavia’s leading alpine race venues, offering consistent, high-quality training conditions throughout the winter.

If your goal is to compete at the highest level and you want the structure, coaching and conditions needed to progress, the Tech Elite Men Team may be the right program for you.

Please note that this program requires 40 FIS points or lower in at least one of the technical disciplines.

  • Trysil Race Development

Our Development Team is designed for FIS racers looking to take their skiing to the next level — whether they are entering their first season of FIS competition or working to lower their points and progress toward international racing.

Our mission is to develop talented young athletes into strong skiers as well as capable and independent young adults. Athletes receive the structure and support they need to develop both on and off the hill.

The program includes a detailed pre-season schedule, individually tailored physical training plans, professional on-snow coaching, video analysis and race support. During the winter season, the team trains at our race center in Høgegga, one of Scandinavia’s leading alpine training and competition venues.

If you are a motivated FIS racer ready to invest in your development and take your skiing to new heights, Trysil Race Academy’s Development Team may be the right place for you.

  • Trysil Race U12, U14 and U16

Our underage program is for competitive skiers under the age of 16 looking to take the next step in their racing journey. The program is designed for motivated young athletes who are ready to invest in their development — both on and off the hill.

We offer a year-round program that includes everything from pre-season preparation to on-snow training and race support throughout the winter. If you are serious about improving, making real progress, and pushing toward your full potential, this is for you

  • Pay and Train

Our Pay & Train program is a flexible option for athletes who want to join professional training sessions without committing to a full-time team.

From May through November, Pay & Train offers camps and training sessions at external ski arenas. Once our race center in Trysil opens for the winter season, normally in November or December depending on snow conditions, regular Pay & Train sessions are available in Høgegga.

Athletes can join individual sessions, camps or longer training periods depending on their schedule and training needs.
