Season Update from the Academy
As we enter the new year, we would like to take a moment to look back and share a short update from the academy.
The season has had a strong start, with close to 30 podium finishes across the academy, combined with several World Cup and Europa Cup starts.
These results reflect the consistent work that has been put in day after day, and we are proud of the dedication, professionalism, and commitment our athletes show both on and off the hill.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our coaching staff. Throughout the season so far, and in all kinds of weather, they have shown up every day — shoveling snow, salting, setting courses, and creating the best possible training environment. Their effort behind the scenes is essential to the progress we are seeing.
The season has included many positives, but unfortunately also some injuries among our athletes. Time away from training and competition is never easy, but we support our athletes throughout this period and look forward to welcoming them back when they are ready.
December brought challenging conditions for a ski academy, with mild temperatures and periods of rain. However, the colder temperatures in recent days have significantly improved conditions, and we are optimistic about being able to offer good training conditions throughout the rest of the season.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who trained with us through our Pay & Train programs over the Christmas period. It has been great to have you with us, and we hope to see many of you back again later in the season.
With the second half of the season underway, our focus is on maintaining momentum and continuing the development process. The athletes are already well underway in the new year, fully engaged in training and preparations for the upcoming weeks and this weekend’s FIS races.
We look forward to the rest of the season — see you on the slopes as we keep pushing to ski faster!
